A great find today whilst at work at the Devon hotel in Matford Exeter, was alerted to something different calling going overhead couldn’t place the call but similar to grey plover but wasn’t grey plover as I looked up trying to find the bird a bird of prey came into move just above my head and making the call which I had been alerted to buzzard no the flight was on slightly dropped wings( Honey Buzzard ? ) tail was longer unfortunately had none of my birding gear with me but tit continued calling as it flew south west causing the local buzzards to investigate once lost to view started checking the call on various websites and yes it matched Honey Buzzard wow an excellent bird for the work list
